Here is my duck-pallet coop. plywood roof with tarp on top for prevention of laks, oak pallet coop door and rear wall. The coop is made of 2" thick old salvage yard boards, and the front is pine pallets. Also the roof sags some so I added some bamboo poles for support. Update....DW bought plastic mesh to cover the front pallets so the ducks wont eat the grass.

what yous got?

Thank you. Thank you. After seeing so many beautiful coops on BYC, I was beginning to think there was something wrong with our converted wood store. I think yours is lovely. Keep up the good work.

I'm looking for free pallets to use on my kennel/coop. For some reason, they are hard to come by around here...or I'm looking in the wrong places. One day, hopefully, I'll be able to post pics.
btw--ugly? FAIL. I think it's cute!

I agree, that is not ugly at all! It's so cute and I bet they love it. Hmmmmmm I've got enough room for one of those but my DH will throw a fit.

2. Farm Implement Stores
3. Paint Stores
4. Hardware Stores
5. Car dealerships (They have shipping crates. Makes great "mini" houses for animals)
6. Furniture Stores
7. Craigslist has FREE pallet giveaways

Good Luck.
