BBQ: Bacon Explosion!

No drooling...

You'll need some bacon, some sausage, some sauce, some rub
and some more bacon.

Fry up about half your bacon.

Make it sizzle.

Chop it up into bite sized pieces.

Take a dozen strips of nice thick bacon and weave it 6x6.

Rub it all up with your favorite rub.

Take a couple pounds of your favorite sausage and spread it evenly over your bacon weave.

Take your fried bacon and spread it over the sausage.

Drizzle your BBQ sauce all over...

That's about enough.

Gently roll your sausage up squeezing slightly to eliminate air pockets.

Start at one end and roll your bacon around your sausage fatty.

Place your seam side down.

Rub it all up on this side with your favorite rub.

I'm cooking this in my grill at about 250°
On the right you can see the corner of my smoke box siting on one burner
with some Mesquite smoking away.

Slathered with a Garlic Honey sauce...

This is where you can have some fun adding all sorts of stuff.
Try adding some garlic, cheese or fruit.
Cooking is fun—be creative.

Duck Eggs, Bacon Explosion, Whole Wheat toast, Strawberry Juice
and Orange slices.

I can't decide if it's the nastiest heart attack on a plate I've ever seen, or if it's the most delicious thing on earth and must be submitted to Martha Stewart and Gordon Ramsey so that it can be appreciated by gourmands everywhere.

Either way...I want one...
