I cannot believe Wattles was the first to kid. By the looks of her bag I thought for sure she would be the last to kid.
The babies are a saanan x nubian doe with a nubian x boer buck. I am testing the waters of milk and meat and still don't know if I will be able to eat goat meat.
It won't happen with these 2. They are both girls. Yayy!!
Yesterday at 2pm all was quiet and normal. At 5pm there were 2 babies dry and suckling their momma. Go figure how it happened in the window of time we were not outside due to the rain.
The babies are fat and happy but Wattles looks tired and too thin to me.
