Ok, not sure if I ought to crosspost this, or just put a link on the Chickenstock [page, but I figured I'd unload on all of you, first....
If I had had a gun handy, earlier, TeaCake would have a bullet in his brain.
You all know (if ya read it) that I've had him in Jail for the last few days, because he was agressive to Michelle. Well, he's been fine, acting just beautiful (better than usual, even) so I figured to try putting him back out in the pasture with everyone else today.
He immediately went after Mama and had her actually on the ground three times, almost ran her into the fence twice, then when Blackjack drove him off Mama he went after Michelle and had her falling down on the ground. He acted like he'd lost his mind, he went back after Mama and would not leave her be, kept biting her, attacking her, etc... Butters tried to help Mama and fell down, also, but that was the mud, not Teacake.
So, TeaCake is for sale - he'd do good in a place where he either had a
Large horse for a companion, or he was alone. Or if someone gelded him he would maybe settle down some. (he likes large horses, actually and gets along well with them.)
I am not sure how he would do with cows or other livestock, as I have been afraid to let him in with the calves and Camille. I wouldn't let him in with any livestock smaller than he is, like goats or sheep.
By himself he is fine, a (reasonably) sweet natured thing - but with my jennies, he tries to murder them (it is not typical mating behavior. Yeah, I know Jacks can be agressive, this wasn't
agressive, this was an all out attack for no reason).
Now I know why I got such a bargain on him
so, if anyone wants an ill mannered little sonofa%^#@& then come and get him. He loads really well to trailer, so no problem for you to load him up and drive off. $200 cash - and he's yours.
he really would do well gelded as a pet for someone, but as an intact stud, he's a monster. btw - he's about 4 years old, if that makes a difference.
