What kind of chicks are you getting? I now have 15 three week olds and 19 two day olds, plus 20 adults

I have a good majority of the 30-some eggs in the incubator that appear to be developing fine. However I had one that developed 2 small bubbles on the egg shell on the outside, the one that looked like a bunch of tiny bubbles on the end. Does that mean it's a bad egg? I haven't found much information on anything like this, just one where it said to throw it away. Should I?

oh Connie!!!!!!! How awful and how scary! I am thankful though that your loss wasnt greater- and OMG! I am glad that you were able to witness and stop your daughter from running in! She must be very upset.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My daughter had the worst seizure she has ever had, yesterday. Full grand mal seizure. She doesnt remember anything but it lasted six minutes according to the paramedics. She was in school. I met them at the e.r. My daughter is epileptic but her seizures are of the 'stare-off' type. So this is new for us.
My mother-in-law was very weak yesterday. Hopefully she will feel stronger today. Yesterday was a step-down from how she was doing the day before. I dont mind two steps forward, one step back- it is much better than one step forward, two steps back.
My female muscovy is walking. Small little slow steps. That is an improvement from not being able to walk at all. Hopefully she too, will do better today.
You all have a wonderful day. Instead of wishing for warmer weather, perhaps we should wish for Snow. That way we can try reverse psychology on Mother Nature.
cgtara...Thanks...we did get a lot accomplished in Traverse....got all our fencing needs and had late breakfast at Round's cafe.
Sevenchickens...I'm so sorry...that is a sad story and it made me go take another look at my brooder set up in our basement!
Keyt...Thanks for sharing that story...now I know what to look for....bubbles on the outside is a warning of bad things to come. I haven't looked them all over that close but I candle tomorrow....day 9 so will be on the lookout.
Michiganwrangler...at least one of yours is online...doesn't that make it SOOOO much easier. I'm glad my days of taking classes are over...my brain just "rests" these days!
28 degrees out this morning at 7am...somebody turn on the heat and keep the snow from coming this weekend!!!!
One adjective that my oldest son favors using is the word lovely. It is a word that he says makes him think of things that are pleasant and make him feel good. With that in mind, lovely is a perfect description of our dinner last night with fellow BYCers. A wonderful dinner and even better conversation made for a perfect conclusion to another good day. I certainly feel blessed to have met so many nice folks through this site.
I went to check on my bator and it cheeped at me. It is day 20 I am so excited I didn't get any chicks out of my first attempt to hatch. I will be over joyed if I only get 1 or 2 healthy chicks.
