All auctions must be purchasable either via the "Buy it Now" or bidding options only.
Buyers and sellers are not able to leave feedback unless purchases are made using the auctions system.
Also, we have linked to the explanation of the Proxy Bidding feature. There has been some confusion about how the bidding works.

That is for the auctions posted under the BSA section, that you see occasionally where someone posts eggs for sale, then says "do not bid" pm me if you want any.
Would be easier recordkeeping for the seller anyways, I would think, to have separate auctions

Also, most of the time, we don't PM for anything but exchange addresses or for payment information. OR a side trade that may have expired in the listings.

Thank you to the member who alerted me to this post so I could answer it and thus avoid speculation and panic.
The BSA rules apply to the BSA listings.
As always the only rule applying to the swaps is that of minors participating. And as always, if a swap goes bad, we will absolutely not do anything for you. The Staff has a mostly hands off approach to any transactions, but the only ones we will consider policing are the ones properly listed in the BSA areas.
