I thought I saw something when I went to pick up my chics at a lumber store that is said something about an auction, but I haven't been back to look at the info.
 
I believe the one you are thinking of in MWC is Mary's Swap Meet. It is every weekend (fri & sat) or (sat & Sun) at NE 23rd street and Midwest Blvd.

The back part has alot of poultry, bunnies, hedgehogs, etc, etc. pretty fun if you go early when it is cooler. that way anything you pick up isn't stressed from heat.

there are a few covered places and buildings accessible. lots of other things there too.

The auction at Durant usually has quite a few chickens and other poultry ... ducks, geese, peafowl, guineas, etc.

I've only gone twice to the auction, and both times there were goats sold, but not more than 10, if I remember correctly.

The auction in Maud, which is every Thursday night, has quite a few goats and chickens. I've only attended it once, and there were over 200 goats sold ... too many for me, since I don't own any, although I've been thinking about it lately. Swap meet in Joplin, Mo. At the Turkey Creek Feed Store on 20th street 3 1/2 miles East of Rangeline Road.

The first Saturday of the Month.

Hey! Marys swap meet? I have heard of that! And it's much closer to me than Maud, though I still would like to go to Maud. I will have to check that one out soon too!
