My chicks have always lived in a heated garage until they are big enough to be outside. Now that we have moved, however we dont have heat in the garage. The chicks have the brinsea heater to go under. Do you think they will be ok out there? (I'm in southeast Idaho)
First off...none of my other chickens have any symptoms. I have one silkie who can not stand, her legs are "floppy" It started out as one leg, now it is both. She is still eating and drinking. It is possible she has eaten some moldy corn, also possible she has a vitamin deficiency. If it...
My polish are dropping like flies too:( It makes me so sad:( But I don't know what else I can do for them.
My other chicks are doing fine. Must be the shipping?
Im thinking that the screen must be reading off. I think the temp was fine. I just bought a new humidity/thermometer on amazon, Maybe i'll try again in a bit. I've never lost that many before.

Do silkie eggs take longer to hatch? I ordered 26 or so eggs, threw away about half of them at lockdown. (they were clear) The others were looking good. I am at day 22 and only one has hatched, and one piped. I really wanted baby silkies :( My humidity and temp have been good. They are...
