    Sick chicken

Her breast feels really skinny, I can feel her breast bone. Her crop I can feel now after just eating some. Her tail is down. No swelling that I can feel but definite weight loss. I can’t figure out if her eyelids are swollen or if it’s just that her eyes are sunken a bit from being sick...

    Sick chicken

HELP! chicken is holding one leg up and will not walk!

What ended up happening to your hen? I have a feather footed one doing the same thing? I’ve been soaking in Epsom salts, iodine on feather shafts & antibiotic cream with little improvement. I have her isolated now for 4 days? Just worried!

    chicken with foamy eyes

I currently have one like that. I started her on antibiotics last night & brought her inside, how long do I keep her separated? She’s eating & drinking fine. Can she free range during the day outside with the others? Or no?

Are these 2 silkies roosters? They are 4 months old. Thank you.

Their mom is a light grey silkie & the Dad a white silkie. Can the females have waddles? They look like they both have the neck feathers developing, that’s why I thought they were Roos?

Prolapse vent that she keeps pushing out!!

My 1 year old silkie “fancy” has a prolapsed vent. I’ve read & followed the instructions to bath her for 15 mins in warm water with Epsom salts. I’ve applied prep H & gently pushed the vent back in. Now I’ve watched her repeatedly for 3 days. The minute I set her down she strains & pushes...
