    This bird is completely gray with a very small amount of color across the back. I'll take a picture tomorrow of the sides and top. He or she may be anywhere from 8-10 weeks old.

    I have a challenge for you. He or she is a true blue Americauna hen x red Easter egger roo cross. This chick is atleast 8 weeks old. It has a pink straight looking comb but it is not red yet.     13 week old buff orpington hen or rooster?

    I've had dozens of BOs and that original chicken is a boy. Girls have bustles. That bird has a roo tail that just hasn't grown in yet. Plus it's comb & waddles are way too red to be female that young. Just my opinion of course haha.

    Surprisingly it's hotter here than forecasted (119) but mine have all survived. Today I am going to grab a mister and set it up for the rest of the week.

    Yep. As long as I live in Yuma city limits you can only have 20 tops. That's okay though. 20 is plenty.
