    Found one of my Buff Orpington hens dead tonight . She was in the dirt hole that they and the dog love to dig and lay in to get cool.     The secret part I dont get. I dont care if they mark them up. Its there business, just like its up to me if I want to buy for those prices. Its not like I couldn't find the prices online for Buff Orpington chicks anyways wether they told me or not.

    I really dont want to put it inside cause it will take up valuable space. Water can stay outside no problems. Just the feed I am not sure. Any other experiances?

    I see these hanging feeders and others but what happens when it rains or snows?? I know they have covers but how good do they work? Do you put it up inside? But obviosly not if you are at work and a storm rolls in right? Just curious. It seemed like the feed would get ruined in the rain.

She is having them in her store on her time and dollar and sells from 1 to 50 at a time so there is no guarantee...

    I recently bought 6 Buff Orpington Chicks from a local feed store. Today I called out of curiosity to see what hatchery they buy from and the owner told me they don't tell people that:/. Why not?? I was caught off guard when she told me that. Any thoughts??
