How common are different size eggs?

They need 14 hours of light. Mine never needed heat just the light. I have a group that just started laying. And we are entering winter. Good luck

I use the non-slide kitchen cabinet liner for floor of the brooder but also put hay and pine shavings around the edges. It seems to give them something to pick at instead of each other.

Mine are 26 weeks. Not sure if 15 would be to much.

I have some bobs that just started laying we are in kentucky with about the same temps. I have 14 hours of light on them and they are outside.

I put them in at night and they do have a roost. They lay their eggs outside and the end of the pen is a gate that gives me access for the eggs and cleaning.

You tube has some good videos, that's the sorce I used.

Mine will not use the cups had them plumed up with a 5 gal bucket they worked fine, but the bobs would not use them. I use rabbit water bottles now and the drink just fine from them.

How long do quail normally live?

Hi all, my bob whites just started laying this weekthey are under light for 14 hours. Will they continue to lay thru winter?
