I've got a flock of 15 welsh harlequins that I bought with the best of intentions back in March (They'll be 20 weeks old this week). I've got 4 drakes and 11 hens. They're all in great health, and just gorgeous. And should start laying any day!!!
BUT, life happens, and we're moving to...
Based on a quick google, and this website, I don't think I would try. Would be subject to a 30 day quarantine.

That's horrible! Just to provide a slight counterpoint, I ordered 15 straight run welsh harlequins from Cackle at the beginning of March, and I received 16 happy healthy ducks, which only 5 turned out the be drakes. I was also able successfully sex them all by beak color when they got here as...
I don't have a mixed flock, but from reading on here, many people do! Especially with starting them all together, AND being all females, I don't see how there would be any real issues.
One thing to consider, just as an FYI, the sexing isn't 100% foolproof. Metzers has a great reputation, but...
Considering that USPS stands for "United States Postal Service", and is a part of our federal government, I'm going to seriously doubt you will find any on your side of the pond. Haha.
The normal process for shipping chicks and ducklings over here seems to be putting them straight in the box...
I just made this for mine, piled up play sand. They have a platform inside of blocks stacked up right to the water level. They scattered right up it when I stopped dumping sand. I think I'll add a bit more.
I've got 16 straight-run welsh harlequins I bought from Cackle a month ago. Everybody is healthy and happy, growing great! I'm doing a little planning on what drakes are heading to freezer camp, and I'm looking for some clarification. They are still a little short of their adult plumage but I...
I've read a bunch of posts, and believe I've got a good handle on the niacin needs for ducklings.
Do adult ducks not need any niacin suppliment? When do yall tone the niacin back?
I'm nowhere near an expert on domestic duck nutrition, but as a wildlife biologist and avid duck hunter, I can definitely tell you that is false. Leftover rice in rice fields is a major food source for millions of wild ducks, and I have spent alot of effort convincing farmers to reflood their...
Ordered 15 welsh harlequin ducklings from cackle in Missouri, got a box of 16 healthy, happy ducks in the mail. Using the bill color method, I'm thinkin I've got 5 and a half males (couldn't decide on one of them!) Will be interesting to see how that works out.
