Just bought the last of the black australorp chicks at the blount county Co-op...lucked out

We have our first egg!!! And this young man right here was super proud to find the first egg!!! The first to lay out of our girls was the Brahma and then later we found another from the barred rock (we got a grab bag variety of hens to see what we like since we are newbies)

And got the door made and hung on its hinges

Got the roof panels on

Update...got the back coop skinned in today...gonna throw the roof on if I have enough daylight...gonna put siding on it so I wasn't scared to use left over plywood to abstract it together
