I have just picked up a Hatchrite incubator and hatcher and need some help getting it going. I've looked around on here for info but not really finding much. I have plugged them both in and the heat up good and seem to work good except for the humidity control, I have the humidifier but do not...
second batch in less than a month that has come out as a disaster. first batch was in a LG, 4 dozen eggs and 10 hatched. this batch was in a hovabator 4 dz also and 13 hatched. held temps good, humidity was good just can't figure it out. I broke open the remaining eggs and found fully developed...
I just can't seem to get it right. My eggs make it all the way to the end and then die in the last few days. All develop good, pip and then die. I hold temps good and raise humidity to 65-75, just don't understand. Real frustrating can someone help?
thanks, Brian

thanks, Brian

thanks, Brian

well kinda sad news, lost all the remaining eggs. appears they could not break out. I checked each one and found it fully developed. the humidity was good (65-70%) only thing I can figure was they shrink wrapped while removing the other chicks. but they had to come out. any ideas?
