LOL Just made chix and dumplings tonight with one of the broilers. The EE is posted on craigslist..hoping to trade for a pullet maybe. But thanks for the info..good to know. Hubby will be glad he won't have to process it.
Yeah craigslist sounds like a good idea..had to do that before with a BR. We don't name or pay much attention to the meat birds as to not get attached, but the 'girls' that is a different story altogether lol.

My girls are a year old and have never done anything regarding de-worming. Maybe I'm behind the eight-ball on this? I use DE in the coop and run which is sand. Is worming done just to prevent worms? I've not had an issue w/ any.
