    The weather is in the mid 70's. But yes we have her in the shady area and in a special enclosure as she is the one most pecked at.

    Thanks for the responses. I did check if it's dirt and it's not..it's also on both sides of the beak. The left side isn't as dark though. Can it injure on both sides if it's a peck? Hopefully it is nothing, and will keep an eye out.

    New chickens aggressive behavior

    Thank you all for the advice..I really appreciate it.. we are letting the BO's free range to give the other two hens some time to eat and relax. Hopefully they will outgrow the behavior soon.(finger cross)
