Thanks so much to all that responded to my Chicken perch question, and thanks for the picture! I think I have some of those little tree's in my yard too!
Thanks again,
Sally
One of my babies drowned.
I had a shallow pan of water for the geese to drink out of and I found the baby laying next to it soaking wet and dead. I figure one of the geese took it out of the water. Bummer!
I moved the water farther from where the chickens hang out.
Well I had a plesant suprise yesterday! My little sebright hen kept disappearing sometimes for days at a time well.....she showed up with 6 babies! And today there are 7! So cute! I just doubled my flock!
My rooster HATES my rubber boots! I wonder if they look like chicken legs to him?
Zgoatlady - So sorry about your son. Mine oldest has IBS so I can totally relate to watching your kid go through pain!
P.S. I'm pretty sure my little FBCM I got from you is a girl!

That looks just like mine. I got her from a breeder. She is beautiful, but a total spaz! I love her! Her feathers have that iridescent green in them when she is out in the sun.
If anyone on here has some that look like this I want one!
I found this post on Craigslist. There is the most beautiful black chicken they are calling a "Black Ameicana." Is this anyone on here? I love that chicken!

My hubbies co-worker found a chicken in her yard and couldn't find the owner, so hubby brought it home. He said it is his chicken!
He named her run-around Sue. I have no idea what kind she is, she is brownish with very yellow legs. I noticed a few black spots on her feathers near her neck.
