    Might possibly be a defect. Was his beak injured in any way? The black/brown bit looks almost like scabbing due to the wrinkles around it

    Can you provide a picture of the injured leg? What are you providing as a niacin supplement? Is there anything she could've injured herself on in her enclosure/brooder?

    If she's at the bottom of the pecking order, the other chooks picking on her could've possibly caused some damage. Does she have feathers missing on her head?

    I had a hen with they same/similar issue. There was a possibility it was neurological and unfortunately she also had a digestive issue. How is her breathing? You have to upload a video to YouTube or a similar platform and post the link to share
