Just finished my coop and runner today, and found a guy who is moving and needed to rehome 2, and just my luck I already have em home! I know ones a buff Orpington, the other is reddish but he said it was too, either way they are great so far eating bugs and scratching dirt
Nice setup! I like the covered coop door too. So im thinking im going to gap fill corners for drafts, and i have foam board to insulate between studs. Im worried about kansas city winters getting so cold, although i plan on having a heat lamp. But of course its raining in Kansas City today...
So i used roof and foundation coating on inside floor and on the roof, ten gallons total. After a drying (its thick could be a week),ill be ready to build out the inside and put straw down. Only doing 4 birds to start. Guess ill build the run while it dries and then fill gaps and paint.
