    On Monday evening I noticed one of my chickens was just sitting on the ground and wouldn't get up or eat. She did go up in the coop on her own. On Tuesday I was watching her closely.     They both sound the same to me. They both quack pretty loudly occasionally which is why I thought they were both girls. Could one girl try to mount another girl?

    The ducks are about 2 1/2 months old and the showgirl is a little over 5 months. I know the quacks are different but I am still not sure what they are suppose to sound like. I thought they were both girls but I just saw one mounting the other, that's why I thought I would ask.

    I finally talked to someone who will take them. I am getting ready to leave but my husband wants to wait until I talk to the girl because we told her we would let her know before we did anything with them.     I was mistaken about the dog killing the mom. The dog killed two ducklings. She never saw the mom. She looked and couldn't find the mom. I do think they may be wood ducks, they look a lot like them. Should we keep them?
