    I've never tried shipped eggs always been afraid to I've heard some horror stories lol. I'm happy you at least got 2 babies hopefully you will get a much better hatch next time it's a learning process so just remember to enjoy it

    If it's dead you wont see any movement and it will just be black except the air cell the air cell will just be empty looking

    I would just look at the air see if the chick is still moving trying to make a while if no movement cull it

    Ahhh well it's probably no good but to be one the safe side I'd use the light to be sure before culling it I'm sorry though

    Oh no I wouldn't personally suggest water canceling you can use a flash light at the top of the egg in a dark room to see the baby chick inside. Unfortunately it probably isn't going to hatch but you can check with a light to be sure and it will be easier on you when incubating to use a light I...

    When I first started hatching eggs I was using a still air little giant incubator from tractor supply I never had a decent hatch rate with it when hatch ducks it was great for chicks though. I recent bought a hova bator and I've had a much better experience with it around 80% hatch rate with it...

    Ducks are a little tricky to hatch so I always set a bigger number usually 30 to 40 eggs. They do tend to be messier than chicks though but grow rather quickly. As far as keeping them warm I guess it really depends on your climate I've never tried to raise them without a heat light maybe someone...

    What temp has your incubator been set at is it a still air or does it have a fan

    You can go ahead and move him just watch your humidity to make sure it doesn't drop to much
