Love your new profile pic! How are you? Oh yeah, there's a rabbit that lives behind my coop that comes out every evening and eats while I'm doing my chicken chores before closing them up. Its adorable!

I have 3 cardboard nests on the floor (for the silkies) and some wooden ones on the wall for the bigger chickens.

Hey Duckgirl! Here's how I clean out the coop:
I get everything out Nests (if their movable), feeders, waterers, etc.
Than I lay a large tarp in front of the door and sweep or shovel it all on to the tarp. Then I fold the tarp and drag it to the old litter pile. Put fresh shavings in the coop and then put everything back in. I also change the nesting material from the nesting boxes and replace it with fresh. Its very easy!
No, sadly my little chickens haven't started laying yet. I will PM you a picture of the nesting boxes I built.

Hey, I cleaned out the coop! Whoo! It wasn't too bad. I do it every 2 weeks so it doesn't have time to get FILTHY. It only took less than 30 minutes! It was about to storm so i was in a hurry. I'm getting nesting boxes today for the younger chickens.
