    Rooster fertility

    I'm hoping that by feeding him game bird breeder chow, the added nutrition will help with sperm production. He is such a good rooster that I willing to give it a try. Spring is coming so hoping that helps as well.

    Thank you for the suggestion. I will try the game bird feeder chow and see if that helps. I never thought about clipping his vent feathers so will try that too.

    I have a rooster that's about 6-7 years old. About a week ago I placed several of his hens' eggs in the incubator. None of the eggs were fertile. Does anyone know what I can feed him to improve his fertility?

    I have a rooster that's about 6 years old. I can walk inside the chicken coop without worry of being attacked. I have had aggressive roosters in the past and I do not keep them long since their behavior never improves. They way I see it, the hens are mine, and the rooster is there to entertain...
