Tweeter is a black austrolorp! A pretty one too, she's at the top of the pecking order. Happy to hear that Moo Cow and the others are going to a nice and safe home Name are hard! I have a secret name stored up for the next time a get Buff Orpingtons, It's cheddar Tweeter got her name because she wouldn't shush on the way home from the tractor supply.

Yeah, i can relate. Somewhere i read that Buff orpingtons were really great layers, but NO ONE in my flock can beat Tweeter, who has been laying for 6 years now! And goes broody every year.. :\ I think there was a chicken named moo cow or something? i don't remember, it was some cute name Ohhh, I love silver laced wyandottes!

Nice! Everyone is ok for the most part the chickens are happy for all the bugs flying around, and that their feet aren't cold Feathery did pass though, she got cocci. What's new with your flock?
