    YO GEORGIANS! :)

They can, but... there is no test yet? Groomer is being stupid.

    YO GEORGIANS! :)

Oh, oh. Yea. No. I was born in MA and lived most of my life in CT (summer and winter hols were always there), boarding school in CT. College in Upstate NY (right next to an amazing chicken farm!), then moved to Japan. And moved to a different prefecture every year I was there for six years. To...

That is a very polite way of saying that groomer has gone mad. I'd get you in at my place, but I have a feeling it would be way too far to be worth it.

I can tell you that most major chain pet stores are still grooming, you just need to get an appointment.

    Water crystals and mealworms

Hi, first off, I would not be giving meal worms water crystals. Hard veg works just fine. Also, do NOT feed it to your chickens. Water crystals stored for a while get manky in ideal conditions. In a place where they are getting exposed to everything, they will get downright toxic. Also, they...

    YO GEORGIANS! :)

I lived here when I was a kid, had to move back home for a while, then moved out. You know, how millennials do. Now working at a pet store, hating life XD Covid is not helping the job hunt.

    YO GEORGIANS! :)

Hi! No longer in Japan, kinda in Georgia now~ Anyways... I'm living in an apartment on the perimeter and really want to incubate eggs. SO! If anyone here wants chicks from a particular place that only sells hatching eggs, I'd be happy to incubate them for you.

Hatching Shelless eggs, they did it! Can you?

Hi, poking around the Japanese net and stumbled across this science project, they have been working on it for a few years now and I have seen it in the news before but this is the first time with a really good video (IN ENGLISH) to go along with it so, enjoy! There are since journal articles as...

She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

That is really interesting. I was thinking it was intestines/poo and normal. I suppose the long and short of it is that it's dead ^^;; It was a VERY active chick in the shell. Moving so much all the time.

It looked between day 14 and 21 size. On the small side for a hatch but not too small. It would not surprise me if the humidity was too high as it was left in ambient and it is HUMID here.

I can confirm it died sometime today as I candled it yesterday and it was kicking.

It was basically ambient and it is VERY humid at the moment.

No deformation besides the air embolism, I checked. The 'bator did fluctuate from 38-42*c every day though so it may have been too weak to hold its head in the aircell. Alternatively, the hair cell may have had a bit of water in it? Some albumen may have leaked in? I just don't know. The beak...
