I really sorry to hear bad news, I haven't read post in forever. I use my time w/ the birds as long as I'm able.I pray you'll find Sunshine alive and happy. I'm not trying to be nasty about other people's dogs, but dachsund(using you're spelling) are notorias for killing smaller animals...

I wastold Eprinex is the best for mites. Can anyone verify that for me? The mineral oil works great on legs. I haven't had leg mites, but I like to help keep their legs from being so hard a scaley and mineral oil does th trick. Also Kyzmette had said a long while back that peppermint works...

Hi everyone. I know it's been forever since I've been on here. It says I have 576 unread posts, but it's more than that, becarse I skimmed through for awhile. Anyway, I was wondering, those of you who use Eprinex, what is the dosage? I have lice and I think even some mites. It would be...

That's great. Hopefully they all make it. I'm still bad at candleing, but I can recognize the blood rings when they die. Hannah, started laying again, so her kids are going to go in the new growout pen, Glenn is building. Leah is setting again. A few of her eggs are 10 days old, so I hope...

Yes, just the amount varies. You can't use medicated chick starter on ducklings, however. How heartbreaking. I don't have much, bu tmay have some extra plywood and 2x4's. I'll check w/ hubby to see if he was going to use them for anything. Done on the prayers.

That's a good idea. I keep mine up, but always quarantine anything new anyway. I did report when I got a new bird, and I think it was Sherri who told me that it is best getting from NPIP but as long as I quarantined, I didn't need to, and even if I get birds from NPIP farms, I still needed to...

Very good input. I never think like that, guess that's why I don't offer much info most of the time. Fluids and electrolytes are always a must, I agree, and that's why we tube them if we're not sure if they're getting enough. You're always thinking on your feet. Thanks. How's your boy doing...

I never thought of that. It makes sense, but would he rock or nod like that if that is all it is?

I'm learning best through experience. Last winter I had a little Welsummer pullet get wry neck in the brooder. @Kyzmette told me vitamin e and selenium would help, so we started her on that and vitamin D3 plus niacin and put ACV in her water. Lots of boiled eggs for protein. She wouldn't eat...

It is so awesome. I don't see how Gary saw a watering can. I had to sit away from it to see what it was. Just amazing talent. I think this is one of my favorites. And I really liked the heavy kitchen curtains w/ the design. Do you have patterns?
