    I’ve never even heard of painting hardware cloth. Just make sure it isn’t something the chickens will pick at out of curiosity. I’d hate to have a chicken eat paint chips and poison itself.

    The blu-kote spray is nice but it stains something fierce. Sprayed some on a chicken once and she decided to floof right afterwards and speckled my face with blue. So watch your skin and clothes, especially the latter.

    I heard that Wazine isn’t for egg laying hens, though people on here say the eggs are perfectly fine after the withdrawal period. And what about babies? I have three little ones and I don’t want to harm them with the medication.

    I actually heard that DE doesn’t do jack for worms when eaten. It’s one of the reasons I’m asking for help because I have DE and using it would be simple but if it’s not going to do anything I’m not going to bother.

    I know I get bees in my cracked corn I feed to the wild birds every year. They roll around in it and everything. A little bit of research tells me that they are after the corn dust as a pollen substitute. This may be what's happening here.
