    The mites came from four hens I purchased from someone off Craigslist. I did not quarantine them like I should have. The sellers were pleasant people, but I'll never buy grown hens again.

    Thank you guys for all the help and suggestions! This is quite a stressful situation to deal with. I have 17 pullets to treat this weekend, and a coop to scrub scrub scrub. Truly thankful for this group!

    My pullet, Bunny,has something going on with her eye. I just noticed it today. She seems to be getting around fine with one eye. Is this an illness or an injury? I am a little stressed right now dealing with the red mite issue and now this. Ugh! What are your thouggts as far as treatment?
