What should the humidity be on day 1-18 in a still air hova-bater?

I have 6 that hatched out yesterday put them in the brooder this morning, they have been fine all day, I just left the room for 30 min and came back and 2 are dead! Why? Anyone have any ideas what happened?

Anybody have any pics of a homemade candler? Or how I can make one? And also if I do candle them is it ok to take them out of the incubator or will that screw them up? Im on day 23

Im on day 23 and there is one egg in there that started to hatch early this morning and i can see the broken shell pieces moving but hasnt made anymore progress, so should i help the little guy out or just leave it alone?

Im on day 23 and why cant i get the temp up on my incubator? I keep turning up the temp. but its just staying at 97 or 98 degrees. 6 out of 40 eggs have hatched, is there any hope that more will hatch? or are they done?

I would like one as well. How do we get it?

This is my first batch and im on day 22, I had 2 of 41 hatch out of the shell lastnight and a bunch more that started to poke through lastnight but they havnt come out of the shell yet. so my question is how long does it take them to get out of the shell once they make the first poke through?
