They were on a roll, the past 2 weeks, but with snow & rain here in Michigan returning this week, I have gotten only 3 eggs yesterday. Prior to yesterday & the day before I was getting a dozen to dozen and a half. Does Weather mess them up?
I also recycle cartons, I just put a sticker over the store name. I was charging $2., but the folks my DW works with at U of M insist on paying $3. due to that is what they would have to pay at Hillers, or Whole Foods.

Today my 30 hens set a new daily record of 19 eggs in a day. Their previous best was 17. They also set an all-time weekly record of 100 for the week. I got them last May. Their previous weekly record was 80. I have become a chicken nerd, with all my charts & notebook.
My gals were slow, but with the recent weather warmup here in Southeast Michigan, they really kicked production into gear. It has cooled off & is raining right now & is supposed to be in the 30's through the weekend. Hoping they don't get confused & slow down again.
