    Am I overfeeding?

They don't sound over fed, and I don't believe they will overeat. Mine did eat alot when they first started laying.. They also can keep a lot in their crop. I think you are going through a lot of food because of so many birds - but most people I know just fill the feeder once a week or every...

    Was is coyotes?

sorry for your loss.. if you have coyotes (kinda like a wild dog with dog like strength catlike abilities to get into and out of trouble.) they are tall, lanky and come out around dusk up here... if you have coyotes, you probably have opossums, coons, and hawks as well. a light tractor may...

any place to buy sexed silkies?

it's extremely difficult to sex a silkie before a few months.. i have a few. The 7$ will probably come with a guarantee that they will replace one if it does turn out to be a rooster. I am no expert, but when young, it may require a vet to sex them out. if you want a baby hen silkie...

How Many Could I fit?** Silkies**

I have a 3x3x4 high coop inside a 12 x 7 run it is large enough for the 3 silkies and 2 standards ( buff and sexlink) a 20x20 is very big, especially if you are in an area where you need to provide a bird net over the top for flying predators.. if I had just silkies, I'd probably feel...
