so I was checking my chickens this morning and when I’m about too leave I notice my hen has something hanging out of her back area, I don’t know if it’s poop or what but here it is, so do I put her down?

so I’ve jist had around 4 chicks hatch, and I have two hens brooding rigjt now. And they are in the boxes right next too each other. The other hen doesn’t have any chics hatched yet... and one of the chicks got into her nest and I can’t get her, will she be fine?

I have noticed for the past 2 days one of my hens has been doing a weird noise. And when she does it, it looks like she moves her head while she is coughing, I don’t know what this is.

Whenever they hatch, how are the chicks going too eat while In the nest? And I can’t separate it’s too late the mom is already setting now. How long should I keep the chicks with he mom before I seperate them to have some sold.

Is there a way I could go see the chicks everyday tj where they are friendly when they grow up

ive had a hen setting on 13 eggs for several days now. When her chicks hatch do I need to separate the chicks and mamma from the rest of the flock?

Haha lol she isn’t setting on the nest anymore guess I’ll just give up on trying. So done it frustrates me

finally one of my hens is broody! She was sitting on only like 1-3 eggs though so I slid around 8 more under her. They were all out there in the best box for around 3-7 days. Will they still hatch?

I made a post about how I added 3 new hens to my flock if three a few days ago. It seems like one of the original hens is still chasing them around and literally biting there feathers. But today when watching them, one of the hens fought back when being pecked at but lost and got her feather...

so I have had three new hens added to my flock for around 4 days now. One of the hens who was originally here keeps chasing around and biting this one hen in particular. And the same hen who is being bullied eats eggs I think. Not the ones in the nest box (unless she hasn’t discovered them yet)...

3, there’s 1 roo and 5 hens. And there’ I have this one cage but it’s kind small and when I try to catch them the rooster gets defensive

I could put them in a cage until dark inside the coop but when I do the rooster flies up st me trying to protect the hens

I only have one operating pen right now.... but like one of the new ones was just laying down and the other one just chases her away and pecks her

I left them in the cage for like 5-10 min then through then in together. But like there literally separating themselves see, the after I took this photo one of the hens was just laying down minding her own business then one of the ones who was first in the pen comes and pecks her and chases her

I just added three hens of the same breed to my old flock yesterday. One of the hens who was originally in the coop keeps pecking and chasing around the other 3 new ones I just bought, why?
