    I have read that yogert is a good idea at any age for my girls. Should i look for any specific kind or stay away from any kind? I understand that the flavored is bad, but is there any other thing to look for?

    Welcome. I am also new to this realm. My girls are about 15 days old and growing fast. This is the best site i have found for info. Be sure to check out the plans for coops. I am going to start building this weekend. There is alot of info here.

    Ok, I have tried playing. they just ran away. So i sat for a while and then laid my hand upside down in the bottom of their brood. Will they soften up eventually???

    Chicken Coop under pine tree

    I am new to this also. Just got my first 4 chicks. We have an old lamb pen under a pin. I am hoping to create a run for the chickens here. We get alot of pine needles too. Good to hear that it is ok. Wow, there are alot of different designs. Not sure where to start.
