I just got another TX-7 on ebay for $140 with turner and extra egg grid. It is on the way. Just keep looking and when you least expect it one will pop up.
I ordered Lyons TX-7 and it works great. Every time you look at it, the temp and humidity is where you left it. It holds 18 large eggs 24 smaller eggs. Very easy to hand turn if you do not get the turner. You don't have to open the incubator for anything.

That would be good, then you could figure out the best way that works for you !!
Keep me updated on what happens, I'm interested to know what works better for you...

The membrane was white when the chicks first piped the egg, but after time it turned sort of opaque. I had 4 fertile eggs and had three hatch with my help. I will raise the humidity 55% or 60% next time.

$12 is cheap for pure and rare. What would any other animal that is pure and rare cost? I think $12 is a steal! I have Black Copper marans and have never complained on the price. What is something worth? What people will pay. If you can sell all you can hatch at $12 and have a waiting list...

I have a friend that told me his father saved eggs in the fridge over time until spring and would then put them under hens and they would hatch.
