Hi everyone after a long long break. For starters just sharing couple of pics. Back in July last year I took a dozen eggs overseas to my dad and 8 of them hatched. Now they are 6 months old and here are pics of two of the cockerels: First one is a cross of a cuckoo orpington with some sort of...

Hi Everyone! Have been away for a while due to work. I have 2 Blue Jubilee cockerels and 1 Jubilee pullet hatched Jun-17th form Papa's Poultry's stock. Let me know if anyone is interested before I decided to have them processed. My crazy neighbor is at it again with calling the cops over and over.

Sorry, been away for sometime. Work and health are keeping me away. Beautiful chicks @Faraday40 . About the splash looking chick, I am not sure where would it get the 2nd blue gene from. Therefore I think its a recessive white (1 gene from Brick and 1 from Jewel (transferred by Oopsie). Lets...

I think in her best interest, it would be better if you clip off the small stub that remains. At least that would be more organized versus a ragged injury she may suffer because of it getting stuck somewhere or pulled off by a roo or frost bite in winter.

If anyone has interest in this choc orpington Brownie please message me. She is the 2nd to the last adult orp I have left. Brownie has lost a little bit weight because she is broody but still close to 8 lbs. Turned 1 at the end of July. Her mother is from a mix of Ewe's Crazy and Fancy Chick...

Wonderful pics @Faraday40 @ChicagoClucker sorry to hear that you have to sell your flock but glad to hear you found a good place. Good luck with everything. Wish I had room and better health to take your flock. Meanwhile I rehomed 7 of my Orps yesterday. 5 from the Choc Orp project went to a...

The silver laced are gorgeous. They already have great lacing. Blue laced lacing may get better after the molt otherwise it may be an incomplete project.

I was more hopeful earlier in the day because she was eating drinking and playing but now she has stopped eating and drinking. Will force feed her some electrolytes and yogurt/scrambled egg paste. Will see how it goes. Chicks can surprise you. The Jubilee chick whose wing got clipped in the...

2 of my 7 week old chicks scalped a 5 week old orp yesterday. Brought her inside to protect from flies. Applied Neosporin (which I believe I shouldn't have since there is no skin). What can I do for her? I heard mixture of sugar and turmeric is good for healing. Any other suggestions? She...
