One of my roosters killed the other last night and I have a question. I was going to send the unfortunate one to freezer camp today. My question is can he still be processed? or is it just a waste? He hasn't been expired long maybe a few hours. I am thinking not but would like some opinions...

Ok we couldn't wait till our rooster started crowing. Well he started and our question is Do some roosters crow more than others? or do all roosters crow every 15 seconds?

Darn budget cuts

We had this same question when building ours and we went with construction sand. It is a combination of sand and gravel up to 1/2 in. Has been very good not muddy at all and has good drainage, helps with smell and provides them with grit. It's cheap here it's about $30 ton . Cleanup is easy just...

They all look like pullets to me they are too dark to be roos. Here is a pic of one of my 11 week old roos. Notice the darker girls in the background
