So I want to start Breeding my Hens we are already getting fertile eggs but havent started incubating yet either and I was wondering if anyone has creative ideas for Brooders that I can keep the future young chicks in.
I have a Narragansentt Tom and a Royal Palm breeding hen, I am hoping they will breed but if they do, do you think it will lokk good and has any one already done this if so do you have photos??
My coop is an A frame design so I dont really want to have to deal with that, it is big enough for us to just walk in and get the eggs, i had external egg boxes on our last coop and it really is not hard but I just dont feel like put it on this go round.
So we are currently constructing a larger coop for our growing flock and I have several ideas for the nesting boxes but my favorite right now is the 5 gallon bucket idea...please post your ideas and some pictures if possible!! please please please give me some input!!! thankyou.

I get crumbles and cracked corn and other grains and mix them all together very well. I find this the most effective because then I can always change my feed to make up for any lack of nutrients. Crumbles is so much better because its easier for them to eat and they tend to scratch and knock it...
