Layers with missing feathers-head and back-all red? Help with pictures

We did have one rooster, which we got rid of about 5 months ago. Would the injuries be lasting? Both of those chickens were like that when the rooster was around, and have never changed.

    Meat birds and DE?

Hello, I am wondering if people use DE for their meat birds. Do you use it in their bedding or in their food? I use it for the layers...but have not heard anyone talk about it for meat birds. Thank you!

    Medicated Chick Starter?

Hello, Can anyone tell me how long I should feed my chicks (EE, Comets & Barred Rocks) the medicated chick starter before I switch them to another type of feed? Should I be giving them anything else in their food yet (they are 2 weeks tomorrow) like DE or anything else? Thank you!
