Sorry to hear about your bad luck did ideal make it right if so was it no questions or did they make you jump through hoops I have herd ideal sometimes doesn't have the most hardy birds but they do a good job of making it right

Looking at their size compaired to the brick in the picture I gonna say rouens since you got them yesterday and asuming they were 2 or 3 days old when you got them I have rouens and mallards and the mallards are quite a bit smaller than the rouens

Sorry to hear about your great loss. I lost two of my mallards to the neighbors dog and my wife and I cried and even gave them a funeral I know how attached you can become with a pet.
