My dh was laughing at me because I was "gitty" over chicks.

I have chicks, 4 hatched and the 5th is pipping and peeping. :) Happy early birthday to me :)

Checked on my broody. 4 of her 8 eggs are pipped (?) and peeps from the 5 larger eggs. Her 3 eggs I dont think are fertile, but will know soon I guess. We are hoping one of the brown eggs are from Alford. How long does it take for chicks to hatch?

Found two hidding spots for eggs today. One in a shed (door wasnt closed all the way) ugh and the other under another shed. I thought I was just having a slow egg week. So, tomorrow they will be locked up for a few days. LOL
