Yes I replaced the ramp to its original spot immediately then I placed the hands inside the coop that evening close the door I let them out the next day but that night they went back to the roost up above the coop
Hi everyone my new flock I had trained to go into the coop at night then I moved their ramp one night now suddenly they don't want to go in anymore they're all roosting at the highest point inside the chicken run they're safe they're high up they're all penned in but I'm afraid that they won't...
Thank you not my design it's a prefab coupe I was actually two that I put together I removed a side nesting box from each join them in the middle and left the other two on the ends seems to work well gives them a huge ballroom like feeling in the center 😊
It has been my experience that wants the bird has full feathers it can withstand the cold better that can take the heat if you have a flock if need be they will huddle together make sure you use straw instead of hey straw is tubular holding air pockets which helps to hold heat.
Best of luck!
I'm fairly new to this myself but I've learned that any Chick or rooster or hen that's being aggressive it's best to pick them up and hold them hold them close to you hold them by their legs and make sure they can't turn around and Peck at you the more you handle them the more docile they'll become
