Mustang, how are the eggs in the bator doing?

Yes, I am still waiting for that sunflower to make seeds. It is coming along well, although the head is SO big and heavy, I had to prop up the entire plant and it's head! LOL I am hoping for a big crop of seeds for the wild birds.

Whoa, 7 roos! Sometimes I feel like a rooster magnet, too ... like right now. I can't be sure, but I might have 5 cockerels. Ughhhhh! I want to have a broody hen, too, but I keep thinking "What on earth would I do with so many roosters?!" They would probably all be roosters anyways!!! I love EEs, but all the EE roos I've ever had were aggressive. Soooo let's hope my EE cockerel turns out differently than his father!!
Wow you have Hamburgs?! That is one of my absolute favorite chicken breeds! I wanted one really really bad, but it didn't work out . I think Hamburgs, Blue Splash Marans, and RIRs are my favorite breeds.
Yup, I remember your disatrous incubator hatch! I'm not incubating right now because .... you guessed it! Roosters! How much of your flock did you hatch?

I'm already craving for more chicks! The one thing that keeps me back is the amount of roos I always get! I never know what to do with them all. I have alot of breeds of chicks right now: EE/Buff Orpington, EE/RIR, EE/Red Sex Link, EE, Buff Orp, Barred Rock, Dominique, and Jersey Giant. I have one of each of those, except I have two Dom's.
What breeds do you have? Did you hatch them all yourself?

Hey Mustang! I've been doing pretty good. My chicks are growing up too fast, but we're all doing well anyways. I wish I could find a way to make them grow slower! How are you?

Hamburg? That's so cool! That's one of the breeds I was planning on ordering if I have to order chicks (depending on my hatch rate - *sigh.*) Yup, we live and learn!
