I have some RIR x Ameraucana mixes. The pullets are starting to lay light olive eggs. Can anyone tell me what genes the cockerels would contribute to a breeding? Would they pass on olive genes? Blue Genes? Brown?
Thanks in advance for you help!

my eggs are mostly from my ducks..
.they are usually filthy because the girls roll them around the pen & bury them in a "dinosaur" nest each morning.
what works great is a magic eraser...no soap needed. i run them under warm water during the wash.
yes, black is pretty obvious...im guessing you heve dark blue.
here are my am babies. the one on the far left was my black cockerel, all the others are blue... though the far right is Billy Ray/ Fabio/Rod Stewart and he is not solid blue
I vote blue but probably a dark blue- not laced...I could tell on my babies at hatch. I had one light one that ended up with dark lacing around each feather & the other that looked like this one is a dark smokey color. My black was obvious (i recently lost him to a hawk ).
here is my growing ee rooster. he is currently perfecting his crow. i hope he continues to be sweet because he is too pretty to eat :P
I'm calling him Rod as in Rod Stewart
i think he is an ameraucana x marans. so probably an oe right?
i am still waiting to be cleared for another swap. :/
i rcvd 15pp from chiqita very quickly thanks! :D
i shipped my eggs to srpaint almost 2 weeks ago. i don't know if they arrived safely or not. USPS says they were delivered last Friday.
x2! I have a 600? gallon stock tank (8 ft across, 2 ft deep) that is currently being used as a big dog bowl. I can't get the geese or ducks to get in it. for now i have those feeder goldfish in there to try & keep the mosquitoes down. minnows would be great!
She's so pretty. I can't wait to get some of my own (and some rhodebars?)...maybe I'll get some from overoberyl this spring. Please post pix of her eggs when she starts laying.
