I am just now getting caught up but maybe this will help me too. I am not sure if you would call this the chipmunk pattern on the 2 light ones or not. BTW this thread is the absolute best at sexing EEs. I almost sent these to off as cockerels but am glad I kept them.If anyone has any silver chipmunks that turned out to be girls, please share! I guessed from a day old on Edward Scissor beak, but really hoped I was wrong. He's quite charming and adorable. Definitely not going to breed him though. I think he'll stay as long as he's good, and makes a good companion for our sizzle rooster George who is going to retire soon.
Great Advice...We have had a little bit of an attitude adjustment...OH and my Little Dog got a big kick out of running around, me carrying her(the big dog chasing us thinking where ya'll going). She thought "THIS IS THE LIFE"...the rooster thought "WTH he's lost his mind" LOL ...my neighbors thought "Kinda early to be having the wine"...HAHAHA!!!I'd say you should pick up the dog and chase the Roo with it....the Roo is showing dominance because the dogs wont, so maybe if the Roo sees you and the dog coming after him he'll stop being such a bully?!?! Also a soda can/bottle with pennies in it tossed at the Roo may work as well...less risk of harming him with a BBgun? Good Luck!!!
thank you. I love them and hope to breed more in the Spring. Those whites are gorgeous.
