how do you introduce new hens to your flock?
i want to add 4 more laying hens (rhode island reds and barred rock) to my coop but im worried of the consequences... i would appreciate your help and suggestions. ttyl.

im making a blueberry lemon layer cake for my little girl who just turned 1! i gotta say, i can really taste and see the difference in organic eggs versus the ones purchased from the store. i will never buy eggs again and ... oh and yes, i think im gonna buy more hens...
i have four english banty hen, 1 leghorn and 1 dark star. the english banties would not want to mingle with the other two so i had them separated. i gotta say, for their size, the banties are pretty fisty! i now have 2 chicken coops. im planning to buy 5 more hen... what breed of hen would be...

i have two hens at the moment, about 2 years old, that grew up together. just today i noticed some unusual behaviour from one of them. she just keeps on picking at the other one until it hides in a corner scared. what does this behaviour mean and how do i make it stop. i have 4 english banty...
