Has anyone bought ducks from Cackle Hatchery??

Ideal Poultry sells a lot of duck breeds sexed. They're out of Khakis until the spring though. :-(

    Anybody sell ducklings on here?

I ordered mine in April from Ideal in Texas. Shipping was not anywhere close to $40, and the minimum I believe was 5 ducks. They provided male chicks for warmth and I gave those to our friend who raises chickens. Some of them turned out to be hens that he kept!

    Duck breed with best personality?

My Pekins have always been friendly. My Magpies were very personable as well. One of mine will follow me around the yard if they're out there. My Khaki Campbells are very amusing to watch. They climb my bulkhead and tap at the window to say "hello". It's very cute. We had some chickadees...

Can someone tell me what she is please?

Khakis are great! Mine have such funny personalities...they're the most fun to watch in my flock. Always doing something crazy whether it's climbing up on my bulkhead and pecking at the window to say "hello" or chasing the chickadees that come in our yard. The best thing is that they are...

    WANTED: duckling MA/RI

Hi Rebecca, I sent you a PM. I'm out near Sturbridge but used to live in Attleboro. I'd be happy to meet you halfway since it's a long drive for you to come all the way out here (unless you want to) and we really need to find a good home for our duck soon. Let me know if you're still...

    WANTED: duckling MA/RI

Hi, I have a Roeun duck that's 7 weeks old. It's a male and he's a lot of fun to watch. When my daughter lets the ducks out of their house in the morning, our Roeun is always the first to jump in the pool! You can see a picture of him here on my thread...

    What is she?

My 7-week old Welsh Harlequin looks exactly like this except for that blue feather!

    Pre-fab. duck house

Okay, before you start throwing the tomatoes at me be sure to read. My husband is a great guy and skilled at many things. Unfortunately, building is not one of his special gifts. We need to build a duck house for our ducks for the winter and would like to get started as soon as possible...

For sale: Ducks (Various breeds) - Massachusetts

Same, here GardenerGal! My 2-month old Cayugas are actually only 7 weeks (so ALMOST 2 months) and I definitely consider them ducklings...maybe adolescents. They don't even have all their feathers yet.

Please help me identify my duck

Maybe a magpie? Mine looked just like this as ducklings...they had the black "cape" and scattered black markings everywhere else. Very cute duckling either way!

For sale: Ducks (Various breeds) - Massachusetts

I'm not sure how much shipping would be as I have to research the laws about shipping waterfowl. Once I find an answer as to whether it's legal to ship them, then I'll be happy to give you a price if he hasn't yet been sold.

For sale: Ducks (Various breeds) - Massachusetts

Great! Here are the pictures I could get tonight: First, my Indian Runner Drake below (Dr. Feathersworth): Next, my sweet Magpie Drake (Frankie): The black ones are the little Cayugas (Michael Phelps and Sugarsnap) getting their classic green feathering already and the Roeun is to the...
