Yeah... Sadly, I believe her blindness to be caused by ocular Marek's disease - she didn't hatch blind. What happened to your silkie?

Sorry for my delay in responding, yet again. :/
My chickens are taking to the snow just fine. Every winter I put plastic on their run to keep out most of the moisture.
Have you gotten anymore snow? It hasn't really stopped here!! I'm so thankful for all this moisture.
