    So glad he's ok! My quail had a heat stroke this summer. He will likely never walk normal again. He leans on the wall of the cage to walk. I make sure his food and water are by the wall. You are very lucky he looks like he will fully recover. He's a cutie too!

    Just curious, did you end up getting some Orpington and australorp bantams? Do they fly very high? They would be my first choice of bantams. I also worry they might be to flighty.

    My quails are not skittish. Chickens are great but a bigger learning curve. When I'm reddy I will get a red star and a frevole chicken.
