It’s been a long time folks. How’s everybody doing?
I put my Foley silver laced Wyandotte cock over a dozen barred rock pullets. I expected to get females that were dark black with black beaks and feet. I expected the males to be black with a yellow spot on their head. I got a variety with four...
@DNDFarms 7 new AMs on the ground so far! I have not had time to update, but I have had time to watch AMs hatch. Awesome shipping and packaging.
Thanks!
I think I ended up with just three this round, but considering there were 9 fertile and I knew at least 2 were suspect that's nearly 50% on shipped eggs. I'm excited about this next batch. Every egg was in great shape, but the box was a bit beat up. I'll post a pic.
This morning I had to leave quick, fast, and in a hurry for the new job so I didn't get to look. I will report back later tonight. I'm keeping my eye out for that delivery and the Brinsea is ready to go!
Thank you WV it was a really great B-day!
The flaky on this one is just reflection from the light. I'm still second guessing the other one. I have hatched 4 others just like it. The first one is all black so far. Looks like a Black Wyanodtte with some yellowing on the feet.
:celebrateHello everyone! I hope you're having a great spring. Just dropped by to say hello and give a quick update. The fertile eggs shipped from D&D Farms are all going into lockdown. I hope to see some real AMs hatch this weekend. :celebrate
We also hatched our first batch of Bev Davis...
SC I got the eggs yesterday and they look awesome! Excellent packing and they all made it safe. I started cooking them today. Fingers crossed for 7 day candle.
